Services, Sunday School, Baptism, Community, Weddings
Below are just a few of the things that we at Trinity UCC offer. There are many committees that help serve our Church and Community.
Worship Services
Everyone is welcome!!

Our Sunday Worship Service starts at 10:30 am.

There is child care available in the room behind the Sanctuary, where there are people who will happily keep an eye on your kids while you enjoy the Worship Service. If you plan to bring your kids and want to take advantage of this deal we ask that you call the church during the week so that we are prepared for you when you come on Sunday.

We start with welcome and announcements.
Our songs are throughout the service and are also on the large screen at the front of the Sanctuary.
If you can't sing..it doesn't matter to anyone. Sing loud and enjoy the music.
Our pianist/organist accompanies the songs beautifully, and also puts together what you will be seeing on the big screen (sorry no there is not football games on the big screen).
We say the Lord's Prayer every Sunday and end with a song in our hearts.
We then go to the Fellowship room attached to the Sanctuary and have coffee or tea or other beverage and some snacks. We talk and laugh and share our week with our Trinity family. You are welcome to join us even if you are a "guest" at Trinity, you will soon become part of our family. We are a very close and tight-knit group that truly loves and supports one another, personally and in our Outreach efforts.
If this sounds like something you might like to be part of, come on down and sit with us and experience the love we have for God, our church and our family.

We also have special services during the Liturgical year.
Sunday School

Our Sunday School meets at 9 am. Our teachers are Marlene Lyon, Jodie Edington and our Pastor, and there are many members that help with this great program. It runs from mid-September to mid-May. They learn about the Scriptures for that week and learn how it relates to them as young adults and children.
Our Youth participate in the Community Meal as well as fundraisers for Trinity. Our Youth does Community Service for the Food Pantry as well as helping with the elderly members of our church. Our teachers, students and church members have a few outings a year. They also help out at our Annual Camping Weekend. They are becoming a great asset to Trinity.

If you would like your child or children to join us, please contact our office by phone, email or FaceBook.
Community

We help serve our local community in many ways. One of which is our monthly free community meal. Each month our Kitchen Committee and Trinity members serve anyone who comes a great homecooked meal, complete with dessert. Everyone is welcome to eat as much as they want and partake in some conversation and fellowship with the many community members that come each month. On average we serve over 90 meals a month. Our menu varies with the season and the local produce that is available here in WNY. We have have a "giving table" that has clothes and household items, people are encouraged to take whatever they need. We are celebrating our 5th year and plan on many more years of serving our community .
We help at the Gowanda Food Pantry and collect food to replensish the shelves when needed. We participate in several of the local walkathons that benefit Love, InC. and Tri-County Crisis Pegnancy Center. If you would like to join us in helping with any of these please contact our office by phone, email or on FaceBook.
Baptisms
Ephesians 4:4-6 - “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
Baptism is to be done in the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit—this is what makes it “Christian” baptism. It is through this ordinance that a person is admitted into the fellowship of the church.
The biblical requirements for baptism are simple: have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and understand what baptism means. The Bible adds no requirements for age, the length of time someone has been a believer (Acts 8:34-38), or informational classes—as long as the person understands what baptism means. The only requirements are that the person being baptized is a Christian and is willing to obey God by publicly declaring their relationship with Him.
Weddings
Weddings are joining of two people and a celebration of the love and commitment between two people and we are glad that you are interested in having your wedding at Trinity..
The wedding ceremony is a service where the bride and groom make vows in the sight of God and in the presence of family and friends. Our beautiful sanctuary provides a warm, spiritual setting for your ceremony. We want to support you as you plan your wedding and begin your new life as a Christian couple.
You do not need to be a member of our church to be married here, but priority is given to people who are members of, or are active in our church. All couples who wish to be married at Trinity UCC must meet with our pastor.
Please speak with our pastor well in advance to reserve the date. There are dates during the year when weddings may not be scheduled due to other events in our church calendar.
